The definition of “cool” may vary from one generation to another. What was cool on the 80’s is simply tacky and passé in 90’s. It really depends on personal taste and your knowledge of pop culture. That would be the safest way to go. Sports are always considered to be cool so if you are into sports, then go ahead and design you dorm with sports related furniture. Any furniture store will actually do. As long as you have the right theme in your head, then it would be easy to find furniture that would be the envy of everyone at the university. You can even save money if you buy them by the set. Sometimes, it may only take an accessory or two to make your college dorm look cool.
